I've used the mysql PHP functions for years, but I'm trying to use the MYSQLI now, but I am unable to get these extensions to load. I have the libmysql.dll in the c: PHP folder and the path does point to it. I have the following line in php.ini extension=phpmysqli.dll When I try to execute $PRIDE2 = new mysqli($sHostName, $sUserName, $sPassword, $sDatabase); I get Fatal error: Class 'mysqli' not found in C: Inetpub intranettest t est.php on line 8. The MYSQL extensions still work fine. I get no errors during startup of PHP or IIS. Actually, I did check phpinfo and there is no section, but I know it's the correct php.ini as I tested it by modifying the extension=phpmysql.dll line to extension=phpmysqxl.dll then restarted IIS and the mysql extensions no longer work. So, it's correct in the php.ini, but still not loading or loading but not functioning, somehow.
I took the x out, restarted and the mysql extensions work again. Just for posterity, I scanned the whole disk for php.ini files and there is only one on my whole drive.
